Program and MEL Strategy Design for the School Improvement Project: Raabta run by Voyage Educare Foundation

Case Study, by

The Voyage Educare Foundation is dedicated to the enhancement of education in remote regions, exemplified through its School Improvement Project: Raabta. In pursuit of this mission, a meticulous Program and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Strategy has been designed to amplify the impact of Raabta.
The Raabta Program is currently implemented in remote regions of India, including Kashmir and Leh. Budget private schools in these areas benefit from the Raabta School Improvement program, which assists them in establishing a culture of excellence. The program introduces innovative teaching and learning strategies, fostering the development of governance systems and teacher capabilities, resulting in sustainable enhancements within the schools. As part of the project, there is a dedicated focus on developing a Theory of Change and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework to support school review and accreditation processes. A workshop was conducted during the consultation phase to intricately formulate a Theory of Change for each pathway of the program.
