Impact Evaluation of The ILSS Fundraising Program

The ILSS Fundraising Program was launched in 2020 to enhance fundraising capabilities within Social Purpose Organizations (SPOs). The program is a first-of-its-kind virtual course for fundraisers in India. 

This study evaluated the ILSS Fundraising Program to determine whether it effectively enhanced fundraising competencies among participants and built organisational capacity and financial resilience in their organisations. The study utilised a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews to ensure a comprehensive evaluation. Beyond assessing the direct benefits to participants, the study examined core fundraising metrics that were indirectly influenced by the program during its implementation. This comprehensive evaluation helped capture the program’s long-term impact on organizational fundraising practices, sustainability, and overall growth.
