Landscape Study for Strengthening State Open School System in Maharashtra

The Landscape Study for Strengthening the State Open School System in Maharashtra focused on evaluating the current framework of open schooling in the state to provide strategic recommendations for enhancing its reach, inclusivity, and effectiveness. The study, conducted in partnership with Educate Girls, aimed to identify challenges and opportunities in Maharashtra’s education system, particularly for marginalised groups who often lack access to traditional schooling pathways. The study consisted of an evaluation of the existing system with a focus on access and inclusivity. 

This study was a crucial step for bridging educational gaps and offering second-chance opportunities to learners who are unable to pursue formal education, ultimately contributing to the goal of equitable access to quality education across Maharashtra.
